Linda integrates her knowledge from her numerous master teachers into her classes which reflects her sincere appreciation, understanding and passion for all aspects of yoga. She combines her medical background along with her yogic background into a creative and soulful vinyasa practice. She takes her students on a journey to become more aware of their bodies, and to connect their breath with their mind and their spirit. She encourages personal growth thru positive thinking and imagery while she inspires her students to move their energy in order to balance themselves and to develop their Core strength. Linda offers variations in the poses according to the level of the student and adjustments to facilitate the openness that each pose may bring. She may incorporate restorative yoga and yoga for healing specific ailments into her unique classes. She creates a safe and compassionate practice to all of her students. The class consists of centering/balancing, breathing techniques for relaxation and/or cleansing, yoga postures and meditation. The class includes a full sensory experience including the burning of sage, incense, the ringing of the Tibetan bells and the healing of touch usually in a form of head massage.
BIOGRAPHY:
Linda has a degree as a Registered Nurse with a B.S.N. She has worked in medical and psychiatric nursing. She is a Certified Personal Trainer and a Yoga Alliance approved Certified Yoga Instructor. She has been teaching throughout the southern suburbs privately and in group sessions. She has studied yoga with numerous well renowned master yoga teachers and has dedicated herself to continuous study of yoga to integrate and impart new information to her students. Her medical background and extensive yoga training creates a unique combination for a holistic approach to her classes.
